North Valley Pediatric Therapy – OPENING!!!!!
Q: When will you be open?
A: We will have our official clinic opening May 18th and invite all our clients back in the clinic if they choose.
Q: What if I like my new day and time that I have been doing for telehealth? Can I keep it?
A: Unfortunately, no. We will be returning to the pre-pandemic in-clinic schedule. Due to our very tight schedules, co treatments, back to back appointments, siblings with the same appointment times with multiple disciplines, etc. we will need to return to the pre-pandemic in-clinic schedule.
Q: What if we are not ready to return to the clinic? Can we continue to do telehealth?
A: Absolutely! You will have the option of coming in the clinic or continuing with telehealth during your original ongoing time. Our therapists will be back to working their full schedules with a mixture of in clinic and telehealth appointments. Telehealth will be offered until May 31st as allowed through most insurance companies.
Q: What if we are not able to do our original pre-pandemic ongoing time anymore. Can we change it?
A: We will not begin making any changes to the schedule until June 1st.
Q: If we are ready to come back to the clinic what should we do?
A: Unless already confirmed with your therapist, please call the office at 602-808-9912 and confirm your in clinic appointments after May 18th.
Q: What new safety procedures will you have in place?
A: We will be asking COVID screening questions and taking temperatures at the door of all people who enter the clinic. Every therapist/child will wash hands when they arrive and leave the clinic. Each session will end a couple minutes early so all toys and equipment used as well as the treatment area can be thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next child. Waiting room and check in counter will be sanitized every hour or in between check in’s when possible.
Q: Will your staff and therapists be wearing masks?
A: Our staff all have masks. If a parent requests that the therapist and their child wear a mask the request will be honored by the therapist. Any parent that attends the session will be asked to wear a mask. We have a limited supply of masks for parents and children, so we would greatly appreciate that if you and your child already have a mask that you please bring your own.
Q: How will you maintain social distancing?
A: We are asking that only the child come back for the therapy session if possible, to limit the amount of people in the clinic. If not, only one adult will be able to attend the session and no siblings. The waiting room will be temporarily closed. We will ask parents to either wait outside or in their cars after they check in. We will have only a few chairs spaced out in the waiting room for parents that do not have air conditioning. Restrooms will be temporarily closed except for the child in session and then cleaned after.
Q: What can you do to protect the staff and others?
A: If you or your child are showing signs of illness, have a fever, have a cough, are experiencing difficulty breathing or have been in contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19 in the last 14 days we ask that you let us know so we can cancel your appointments temporarily. We will be cancelling appointments if signs of illness or fever are present at the door.
If you have further questions, please call the office. We are very excited to re-open and see everyone in person again. We appreciate your patience with us as we navigate a new normal and make this transition as soon as possible.
